Bugatti type 35 Monaco GP versions
The Type35 was a race car designed by Ettore Bugatti, founder of the Bugatti brand that started business as an automobile maker in 1909 in the Alsace region (now France). It ran on an overhead cam straight-eight engine. Along with a unique brake drum, aluminum wheels casted as a single piece, and unique leaf spring used for the suspensions, the Type 35 packed various new and innovative designs as thought up by Ettore himself.
First appearing in 1924, the Type 35 performed strongly in various situations, allowing it to take many victories during its time. In 1929 it managed to win first place in the first ever Monaco GP that took place in Monte Carlo. It continued to perform strongly in the following year and managed a one-two finish in the second Monaco GP. It also managed to win Targa Florio for five years straight between the years of 1925 to 1929.
Parts of this multi-material kit are made of white metal, polyurethane, lathe-cutting metals, photo etch sheets, vacuum-shaping PVC, rubber tyres, silk-screen printed decals, and various cords.
