Maserati 300S chassis 3062 driven by H.Schell and S.Moss at Cuba 1957, factory built by Mike Craig in 2012 in a limited and numbered edition of 30 models. ref 2 MVM43.
Never available as a kit. it a long nose version made from the Minerva43 kit.

Mint conditions in its original box. (only a little task on the box).

It is February 1957 in Havana Cuba and the first Grand Prix in one of the world’s most exotic locations is about to take place , revolution is in the air ,General Batista has put the city in a state of siege and the rebels are threatening to kidnap the drivers.A dock strike in New York has meant that the ship carrying the official Ferrari and Maserati teams had to return to Italy with their cars.Amongst this chaos the organisers have found sportscars from countries such as Brazil and Venezuela.The battle of Titans (De Portago, Shelby, Collins, Gendebien, Drogo, Wolfgang von Trips,Masten Gregory,Moss,Schell,Fangio) will take place with Fangio taking the honours.The MVM43 built model represents the Maserati 300S chassis N°3062 with a modified front (after a race crash in Buenos Aires) of Harry Schell and Stirling Moss which did not finish the race.
